After a busy weekend of pub crawling I'm officially in recovery mode today.  My area has a huge Mardi Gras pub crawl and we did it up right this year.  It was Saturday, but of course I had to avoid my hangover by continuing to drink for Sunday Funday.  Today has been tough.  As much fun as I have with girlfriends, the day you sober up is the day you remember all of the things your dumb@$$ did while intoxicated =)  And with 15 girls, things got wild!  Not that I did anything wrong my any means, but just things that are definitely out of character for me, but it was a gooood time!

I tried to get the house clean today, but had to sit down frequently in order to not get sick.  That's always a blast.  Definitely laying off the drinks for a bit!  I will get through the rest of today and try to be a bit more entertaining tomorrow!  My head hurts...

Stay @ Home Girlfriend

From my title you should be able to tell that I have a lot of free time on my hands.  So what better hobby to start than BLOGGING.

I'll start by telling you a bit about myself, and we can always delve much deeper later:

I'm 30, not married, no kids, lots of pets.  My boyfriend and I have been together for 5 years and very happy together.  I'm just not about marriage at this point and fortunately he understands.  I'm weird, I know, but there really are a lot of women out there that do not need to get married!  Someday we may....

I formally worked at a veterinary hospital and LOVED it, but we decided to move back closer to home to a very, VERY small town.  My boyfriend is a very busy business man and also needed help, so after about a year of working out the kinks, we moved and now I work for him.  Though, he doesn't always keep me very busy.  So for the past year I've found ways of keeping busy through exercise & health, arts and becoming a better homemaker.  Let me tell you, I've never been a great homemaker and actually hate cooking.  So this has been a struggle for me, but if I'm going to be at home all the time, I feel it is my responsibility to keep the house as comfortable as possible!  AND we're renovating....   more on that later.

My friends have always told me that I am a pretty interesting individual and that I should write.  So here I am, trying to figure out life, how to improve it and continue to keep my busy bee personality happy!  Hopefully I may be able to entertain others and help them along their daily tasks as well.  Oh, and I'm super clumsy.  That should add to the "entertainment:"

My life is very cushy, but I strive to be a better person at home and in my community everyday.  I'm hoping to learn from others through this as well.  Maybe we'll be able to help each other <3.
